- Challenge: Maliban needed an innovative digital engagement platform to connect with consumers during Vesak celebrations. The goal was to create an interactive experience that honors traditional lantern-making while incorporating modern technology and brand integration in a fun, memorable way.
- Solution: We created an immersive 3D lantern design studio featuring real-time customization capabilities. Users can select from multiple color schemes, traditional patterns, and design elements to create unique Vesak lanterns. The interface includes a timer feature for gamification, 3D rotation viewing, and seamless integration of Maliban branding elements (Maliban Kiri and Maliban Cheese).
- Implementation: Built an interactive WebGL-powered 3D lantern designer with touch-optimized controls for kiosk deployment. Features include: real-time 3D rendering, 10+ customizable design patterns, color selection system, timer functionality, Sinhala language interface, and responsive design for various screen sizes. The platform is optimized for public kiosk installations at events, malls, or Maliban retail locations.
